Below you will see a video that describes the ADDIE process. It is important to know the ADDIE process when developing a blended/hybrid course. The 5 steps to the ADDIE Model:
- Analyze
- Design
- Develop
- Implement
- Evaluate
(Hanson, 2014)
You will want to make sure that you know your audience as well. Make sure that you know what technologies are available to your learners before going through and creating the course and adding technology. It is best to design a course that works well and seamlessly with the technology that your learners have access too. You could do this by taking surveys or discussing it with the SME or cooperation that you will be working with.
