Discussion Boards

In the video below, Professor Curt Bonk from Indiana University discusses how to manage an online course with discussion forums. He goes through all of the roles of a facilitator.

If you are wanting to create a discussion forum, then you need to look at the CMS that you chose to work with and see their tutorials. Each CMS may have different ways to incorporate discussion forums. Another way to incorporate discussions amongst learners is through collaboration websites.
